In this course, I helped edit articles by students in the Hussman School's community journalism class, which produces The Durham Voice, an online publication serving the Durham Community. 

Coulture is a fashion and lifestyle magazine with print and digital formats led by students at the Hussman School. I was first a staff member on its copyediting desk, then moved up to the position of an associate chief copyeditor.

 I assist with editing and proofreading news articles across various sections of the paper, from hard news to features to columns. I do the same for the paper's lifestyle magazine, Washington the Magazine, which is published six times a year.
